Check out the article on our project, Sun Feb 1, 2013 in the NY Times: “Documentaries Thrive in Sandy’s Ruins”
Feature doc that’s shaping up into a pretty interesting project – and prepping for a massive fundraising/social media campaign. Director Ben Kalina spent Hurricane Irene on LBI with the Coast Guard and intrepid residents who opted not to evacuate. Click here to check out his appearance on Democracy Now!
This feature doc, which we wrapped last fall, exceeded its fund-raising goal of $25K and will be fully funded through post-production.
… until early spring. In the meantime, here are some hyenas eating a dead hippo.
Shot this episode of the (excellent) arts series, Radar, last summer. Lone Wolf and Cub is a performance collaboration between Ryan Sawyer (percussion) and Suzanne Rogaleski (trapeze). So, it’s cool.
My first episode of Radar, featuring the Shaking Through series produced at Weathervane Music in Fishtown (Phila).
The director (Eugene Martin) and producers (Green Films) for “Anderson Monarchs” have garnered some serious interest in this project. Within the last few months, the film (still in production) has received a Contemporary Issue Doc Grant from the Sundance Institute, and was also selected to participate in The Good Pitch @ Tribeca.
Having wrapped on all game footage back in Dec, Eugene and I are now shooting the girls’ stories and covering the aspects of their lives – family, school, future in the sport – that are being transformed through their participation in this little (but mighty!) South Philly soccer club.
